What We Do

As physiotherapists, we use a combination of manual and complementary therapies, stretching and exercise programmes to get you back to full strength. We specialise in helping people recover from sports injuries and rehab after surgery. We also do specialist work with older patients who may have issues with mobility, balance and arthritis, and assist with women’s health conditions.

We’re in the right place

Your sessions will be arranged in the best place for the care and challenge you need. That could be our clinic, your home, the gym, the pool, the park or the pitch.

It’s all about you

Nothing we do is standardised. From the exercise programmes we use, to the emails we send out after each session, we tailor everything to you.

We’re always here

If you have any questions in between sessions, we’re here to answer them. You can call or email us and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Techniques and therapies we may use

  • Exercises
Exercises and stretches to increase your range of movement, build your strength, and improve your balance and proprioception. After each session we’ll email you your exercise programme with diagrams, videos or instructions to make sure you get the most out of each one.
  • Pilates
Pilates mat exercises are excellent for building core and upper body strength without putting pressure on the joints. This makes them perfect for the early stages of rehabilitation when an injury to your leg, ankle or foot makes weight-bearing exercise impossible.
  • Gait re-education
Following an operation or persistent sporting injuries, assessing and monitoring your gait through video analysis can be really helpful. Based on what we see we’ll tailor your exercise programme to improve your gait week on week.
  • Manual therapy & mobilisations
We may stretch and mobilise your joints in a number of ways to help you regain your full range of movement. Sometimes we’ll assist you or control your movement to make sure it frees up restrictions and allow you to get back into a healthy movement pattern.
  • Massage & trigger point release
To release tight muscles, to support healing, and to reduce scarring of injured muscles and tendons, we use a variety of massage techniques. These include myofascial release and trigger point release.
  • Acupuncture
For inflammatory conditions like tennis elbow, or to release a muscle we may use clinical acupuncture.
